A session with the Police OCPD
Dear residents, just this past month the Resident Association of SS4C & 4D has successfully conducted an open dialog session with the Police, with the assistance of our beloved MP Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun. The topic at hand was the increasing crime rate in out Taman, and what can we residents do in the face of this social problem.
Held on the 14th of August 2007 (Tuesday), the session saw a good response from our residents as not only was there a big turn out from our residents but our fellow residents kept streaming in to join in the dialog session. Moreover the session also saw a strong show of force of the Police representatives, lead by Petaling Jaya OCPD Tuan Mazlan.
Residents were treated to short speeches from both YB Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun and Tuan Mazlan - both off whom highlighted their comprehension of the current issues faced by the residents. Once the dialog session was open, the residents started posing some quite good questions to the police representative and even to YB Chew Mei Fun.
All in all this has been a great opportunity for the residents of SS4C & 4D to air their grievances, put forward suggestion and ultimately receive advice from the experienced Police representatives on matter regarding the current crime rate in our Taman.
